September 2009 - SysTune version 1.1 and SysTune Pro released
The free upgrade includes the following major new features:
- DSP plug-in interface, supported by major manufacturers such as Renkus-Heinz, Electro-Voice, Linea Research, Tannoy, Turbosound, Outline, FZ Audio, Salzbrenner Stagetec, Harvey Audio and others
- Virtual Equalizer for simulating the effect of a parametric EQ on any measurement, available in real-time and off-line for stored measurements
- Spectrally Selective Accumulation - SSA™ noise rejection filter for better results when using speech or music signals
- Support for national health regulations regarding exposure of human hearing system to SPL, LEQ and peak levels
The free upgrade is directly available through the AFMG Download Portal. Along with the software update the Pro version of SysTune was introduced. It adds:
- STI according to IEC 60268-16 (R 2003)
- Impedance measurements
- Simple harmonics displays
- Noise criteria RC, PNC, NR
- Capability to include reference and compensation curves
- Channel mapping for using any selection and order of input channels of a soundcard
- Playback analysis of previously recorded raw data, infinitely repeatable measurements for optimizing results in difficult environments
September 2009 - New measurement seminars in fall 2009
AFMG has announced another series of measurement workshops:
- Six seminars "Einmessen von Beschallungsanlagen" in German-speaking countries, run by Markus Zehner.

June 2009 - AFMG and DSPECIALISTS introduce Gateway x.8
At InfoComm 2009, Ahnert Feistel Media Group (AFMG) launched its new A/D-D/A converter, the 8-input EASERA Gateway x.8.
The x.8 is the product of a collaboration between AFMG and German hardware designers DSPECIALISTS, and is designed to complement AFMG’s EASERA and SysTune audio measurement software tools to provide sound system engineers with a complete PA system tuning package.
